It's always fun when Jessie shows up, you never know how many cars they will bring.

I didn't have a lot of time to talk to most of the people there but I still had a great time. The MacNicols (probably spelled that wrong) are a class act, it was great meeting them. It was a hoot to see the stock Hard Times car, I spent about 10 minutes just reading all the event stickers. Alissa (sp?) gave 540 boy a heck of a run for his money and then found a dead car in her shutdown lane, no lights and it was dark. She was able to flash her lights long enough to get the track guys to drag the dead car off the track, it was an exciting night for sure.

Gold Bird - your 'Bird looked good going down the track-would love to see it run with some good tires under it.
Son Rob got in a couple of 12.6 passes with 1.7 60 ft with the Catalina, not bad considering the humidity. The crew at Bradenton did a good job keeping the track prepped.
Love the idea of a Pontiac Runday at the track. Perhaps David H could give some tips/advise/suggestions about how to get that done. I'm sure the Pontiac clubs around Florida would be interested.
If you want to see someone having fun at the track then just watch Brandi Kay-she was stoked the entire time.
Had fun, let's do it again !!

70 lucerne lemans - Hope everything is going well and your son heals fast.

Jessie - Your T/A really yanks the front end hard, looks good.

As far as a Poncho day at Bradenton, IIRC, the track charges $2500 a day, I'm not sure what they charge for club events. Getting a weekend deal may be tough (not sure if that affects the price) but I don't think that people who live more than 50 miles away would go for a middle of the week deal. There may be a chance that we could piggy back on a Pro Mod TnT but I'm not going to guarrantee anything.

If we could get 25 people to show up with $100 each it would be 8 hours of test and tune, heads up racing, whatever you want.

That's Devon's white Z, it went 9.50 on that pass. Later he melted a plug and ruined a head...

Man that Bonnie looks good!

Any way you can put those videos where I can download them? I'd really appreciate it.

Dave

I had the same problem with the CalTracs, they would bite hard and then unload and spin, I didn't take time to adjust them much from John Calverts suggested initial setting, it was easier to just sell them to you
