1962 Tempest Wagon Factory 215 V8
My friend John wants to sell his wagon, a Nevada desert car, very little rust, one spot in the rear post (see pic) and one dent in the right fender. Looks all original, I've seen the car in person. A factory 215 V8, very rare engine, it does turn over by hand, he hasn't purchased the starter needed or had the original rebuilt yet. Comes with a factory A/C unit that was in the car when he purchased it. Asking $10K more photos available. Located in Scenic AZ. (Mesquite NV)

That is a pretty little Tempest. Growing up, my next door neighbor's wife had one just like it (except hers was riddled with parking lot dings and had never seen compound or wax). It was a fun car, though.
This one looks like a pretty straightforward spruce-up, with few parts needed. Now, is it a $10K car? Seems a bit high to me, but surely $6-$7K, if it runs and drives well.

Here is an aftermarket rear emergency brake cable for a 1961-62 Tempest. Rear cables for the Tempests rarely show up for sale.
