Racers still like to go fast bracket racing! Faster car better (it’s fun to chase down your opponent) in my opinion, that one reason why I supercharger on my engine, lots of power low rpm less breakage.

So one can try to make big power and then when they fail one can fall back and say "I wasn't trying, it's a bracket motor".

Kinda like using Q-16 and saying you're not going for big power.

Bracket motor.....my words. I talk to 3 people there at different times, got the same answer basically all 3 times, sorry if you think all 3 are lying just because you don’t like the answer.

Why not? I had a 14 to 1 street engine at one point. Not intentionally but that's the way it all came out. I never said it was a bracket engine. Just not max effort. If setting it for max effort on NA I would think 17 or 18 to 1.

I agree, but some racers feel 91 Octane is all that is needed for bracket racing.

Every time someone cracks on Pontiac bracket racers they are dismissing what, at least 97% of Pontiac racers. To big time class race a Pontiac you need to have enough money to literally light a bunch of it on fire because that is what it takes. And not end up divorced, giving her HALF and starting out with almost nothing then trying to get back into it but since you had to sell most of your stuff to pay her off you are now a keyboard racer talking about the past. 50-80K for a Pontiac vs 1250+HP Shmidt BBC for 29K with a one year racing guarantee carb to pan. 1100+ HP for 20k. Some Pontiac racers have way over 30K just in their heads.
We all look up to the big time guys who have worked hard enough to set themselves up to give it a shot. Happy for them and glad they are there but reality sets in on our own money pits, and that's exactly what they are. But its fun, every hobby worth doing gets expensive.
Yeah, I see no need to not run 91 octane bracket racing. If I could travel and do it I would run alcohol and 15-1.
The heads, most know that KRE is not the BES of the Pontiac head porting world. But they make the most stuff by far and we should all be glad they are here. Because there would be a giant hole in the Pontiac world if they did not exist.

Those guys are no joke. Big money cars. Some Nor Cal Top Sportsman came to our track one year. Our track had a hard time holding them that day.

Eisenstein, he had it for sale here. 82K in the engine selling it for around 60K when he was thinking about going boosted.
Not the only 80K Pontiac engine either.
The point is, I am right. These kind of Pontiac race engines are nuts, crazy expensive.
Cost big dollars to be the NA King.
