This photo qualifies I hope.
It's definitely old, and kinda Pontiac related. I found this slide of my dad a few years back going through his stuff after he past away. I am guessing it was taken in either 54 or 55. The car in the back ground was the one he moved our family out to the Pacific N.W. in from the N Dakota in 1954. I think it is around a 1936 Chev. When we moved out here he went to work as a body man for a Pontiac Buick dealership in our small town from 54-58. In 58 he started his one man body shop right next door to the dealership. I say a whole lot of Pontiacs go through his shop back in the 60s. Bill |

Circa 1978, Tri-city dragway tech line. This is a picture of my dad proudly standing in front of our 66 GTO on our new (used) trailer and chebby van.
Up to this point in time we had been towing with a old Ford econoline van, 6 cyl stick with a tow bar...man, we were stylin then...LOL! |

Great pic. I see your Dad was a fan of the ever popular (back in the day) blacked out tail panel on the '66.

Very cool pics. My '68 came from Boomershine right here in Atlanta.
As a side note...the Indian head on the workbench shot looks a little like George Washington...lol

The anniversary of the premier of 'Star Wars' is actually today, May 25 (1977). I was reading about that when I saw the photo with the FB so prominently displayed right in front of the theater... I instantly knew it was a perfect photo for this thread.
Notice one of the other films advertised...."The Car"....One of my favorites...

Magazine image entries; Here's mine.
My recent reacquisition
I've been collecting OHC related articles for some time now and have never seen this one. For anyone interested here is a montage of some of the other mag covers. Lots of great cover images... http://s412.photobucket.com/user/SPR...AZINE%20COVERS
