Edelbrock RPM Intake question.
Was sort'n parts other night and noticed the ports are larger then thier own stock heads.
Thought they where supposed to be matched out of the box bolt together. Intensional design?...

RPM heads are matched to a RAIV height... RPM manifold is matched to a D-port height. Probably made the manifold smaller so they would work decent on stock factory heads... they did the same thing with the Victor.

Thanks Paul.
Understand that. My stock E-hd ports are ruffly 2-3/16 high x 1-1/8 wide. Intake is 2-5/16 high x 1-3/16 wide.

That doesn't make sense that the manifold would be that tall, unless someone was in there grinding. Your head dimensions seem stock.

No it doesn't.
Bought heads(early bolt style) and intake together yrs ago from local vender. Ports are stock. Was wondering if anyone else had same difference.
