A 350 would work, a 400 would work better! There are still lots of mid to late 70's 350 & 400 engines floating around in junk yards. I don't know what transmission your Bonneville has, probably a TH-350, but if you just need something for a replacement motor it should be ok.

go with a 400, parts (heads, pistons) are more plentiful and overall cheaper. Also you can get NEW 4.25 cranks with 3" mains .bore the cylinders .030 over and "POOF" instant 455 [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
