Any updates? Availability or prices yet?

I have mine back from coating and are on the car. Should be ready to go racing again here real soon. Hopefully these new mufflers will be worth a few numbers. Mark has the headers and shows them on Ebay from time to time. You can call him and he can get a set out to you.

Thermal Tech in Hopewell Virginia did the coating for $250. They look very nice and I actually dropped off a set of long branch manifolds with them to get the "cast iron grey" coating done. If they are done as well as the headers then I will be very pleased. I had the car running yesterday for about 20 minutes and I saw no discoloration in the tubes at all. Only time will tell how they will hold up but so far they look good.

I have shorties from hedman on my 78 gp 400 on poly 301 mounts.
The brake line on the driver's side of the cradle must be moved a bit...

Any more details on those mounts?

Headers are working great! I have had no problems with them at all and would recommend them to anyone! Call Mark and talk to him, he is great to deal with!

Johnny,

These mufflers are from Speedway Motors. They were the cheapest 3.5" ones I could find. The rules around here say you must have mufflers but doesn't say how "loud" it can be. I was previously running single chamber Flowmasters but decided that it needed to talk a little louder. These didn't come with the 3 bolt flange already welded on, I did that.
