Question Anyone have experience with oversize lower ball joints?

I'm replacing control arm bushings. One of my lower A-arms had the lower BJ just falling out. I heard moog makes an over sized one. Anyone have experience with them?

I have not found anything.

Looks like my options are tach welding a new BJ in place or purchasing a now arm

I've tack welded them in, no problem that I've ever seen.

Someone with a MIG, that is familiar with welding, could run a series of beads on the inner bore of the A arm, then grind, or file it to take up the tolerance.

Both fixes could be performed on the car.

When the ball joint is loaded with weight on the wheel, it's being pulled into the A arm anyway, not pushed downward.

Rock Auto has Goodmark lower A frames with bushings and ball joints installed for right around $115.

The moog k5103 according to the description appears to be oversized to 2.310. Not sure what OEM is. Guess what size I have 2.310.

It's not a sloppy fit. Takes a hammer tap to seat it In and a tap to get it back out.

After weighing all my options, i think the tach weld is the way to go for me.
