Default All The Same ?

It's my understanding that all those type mounts for Birds were the same for 301, 350P, 400, and 455.

Similar mounts for other models look the same but will locate the motor too high in the Bird chassis. I learned this the hard way.

Not sure if anybody sells new Chinese mounts yet or not. I've seen pairs of these originals for over $100 on Ebay !

Sad thing is i have what i need at my moms house but shes a little psycho at the moment.i played with these cars back in highschool, every one i put together was pontiac powered.i remember pulling mounts out of a bird in the junkyard, dont remember if was a 301 or 350/400 car.i also pulled a 400 from a bird and dropped it right in with the right frame mounts.

But in my research on this ive been reading that the bird mounts will sit the motor high, that i must use the 301 brackets.hood clearance aint an issue as i have a 4" cowl hood but i dont want to lose my AC.i also want it to look normal, dont want the motor at an angle

Those are the same brackets I just got off of ebay. I was told they are an inch lower than the F body brackets.
