2-tone Paint on 74 Pontiac Grand AM

I saw a 1974 Grand am that had a 2 tone paint job. I have owned several grand am's and never seen it like that. the hood (from rear to front point. its seperated by pinstriping)and roof was one color. Hood looked like buccannear red and rest of car was hondouras maroon. I was wondering if its original??
