Default Linda Vaughn

If you like Linda Vaughn and the Hurst story, this is a must buy:

Just got mine today and it's incredibly well crafted and written with tons of photos seemingly from her personal collection.

Loved skimming through this at first glance, and will pay more attention to the details as I get into it...

It was reported she had a heart attack back in August, I hope she's doing well. I met her at a POCI convention some years ago, she seemed like a very nice person.

I met her at Dennis Kirban's car show he had at his home back it 2011. She is a sweetheart and funny as all hell. 100% a great lady. Had a great time and got to sit and chat with her for a while. She autographed the right side visor in the GTO and a Hurst hat. I even got a few photos with her and have them on a cd... and a big hug too. Sure made my day.... Funny thing is that all the photos taken of her throughout the years makes her look tall. Actually she's only about 5' 4". I'm 6' and she only stands shoulder high to me.

I too hope she's doing well, even tho there's been no word on how well she recovering. I wish there was a way to contact her and say Hi.

My wife and I sat next to her on an airplane flight 3 or 4 years ago. She was extremely gracious, funny and pleasant. She seemed genuinely interested in conversing with car hobbyists. I do hope she is doing well.

Wow, 73 years old at Indy 500 in 2915 and still looks great. That would have put her at 69 at Dennis' show back in 2011.

She told me that when she started with Hurst she wasn't 18 like everyone thought... she was only 16. On her mother's advice she had to lie about her age. True, and right from her lips to my ears. I consider myself lucky to have even met her that once.. and even to talk to her one on one for half an hour or so.
