Default 70 GTO rear arm rest panel restoration question

I have the original rear arm rest panel for may 70 GTO. They are in excellent condition but are faded. I want to freshen them up. The color is sandalwood. What do I need to do to put a fresh coat of paint. I have SEM vinyl prep 38343, also have SEM plastic/leather prep 38353. And a adhesion promoter. I have never done this before. What do I need to do? Thanks in advance Steve

The panels are made from ABS so I do not think the vinyl prep is necessary.

I washed my set with Dawn dish soap and a scrub brush, then once dry I washed again with SPI waterborne W&G remover and a brush to get the dirt out of the embossed grain.

I did a last wipe down with waterborne W&G remover then 2 coats of SEM Landau Black paint.

I did not use any adhesion promoter, I believe the solvent in the paint bites into the ABS pretty good...will see what others say as this was the first set I painted and it turned out well.

I did my kick panels the same way. Worked good.

I used the SEM soap, prep, adhesion promoter and Color Coat. Came out nice...then decided I wanted a closer match to dash and ordered a custom mix.

I did the same prep but used the bulldog adhesion promoter. For the best color match I got my materials from kolor korrect. They have the original formulas. The color was pretty much spot on from original....mine was saddle. Theyll even tell you if the part was supposed to be in no gloss,,low gloss,,etc.
