Was looking at some of my firebirds and TAs today in my parts yard and I came across these on a 79 formula.
Has anyone tried these?
since I already have them and they look super easy to quick to do, am going to pull them off tomorrow and try them on my TA.
has anyone used these?

Used a set on an VII . Got stiffer, went up about 3/4 inch IIRC..
I like the ride of softer springs so I try to leave em if I can..

curious what is a "VII" ? have never heard of that term in my 45ish years of being a Pontiac fan. must be new lingo? or not Pontiac related?

I just need to keep my TA from bottoming out and destroying my mufflers in a simple, easy way. Will change or rebuild the springs at a later date. need to do something quick and easy now

yup, Ventura 2 .... I have used this term for 40 years, It stemmed from The new body, but last of the namesake 1968 Chevy II . ( Nova) That body style (X) was used for the VII as well, so It kinda stuck in some regions I guess. Pontiac calls the car a Ventura 2

So, I added this helper spring I wrote about finding in a prior post and it met my needs- cost nothing and was added in less than 30 minutes. exactly what I wanted to raise up the back of my TA and to cut down on bottoming. they seem to work well.

I certainly know what a Ventura II is, I own a few of them. but, "VII" is the roman numeral for the number '7'
