67, I'm interested in a set. Do you think these would fit with a 90 attached in between the firewall and the head? It's the same size plug I think.
PM me with payment options.

These plugs are designed to insert into the holes on the intake side of the head. Dont think they will fit in the end of the head.
The attached photo is set up for KRD heads where the hole is thredded.

Default Explanation

For those of us not into racing can you tell us what exactly these do and what heads they fit? Stock or Aluminum aftermarket. Got the hint they helped with heat across the heads but not sure.

What is the cost for a set?

I was bored, so I snapped a few pictures to show what they are and what they do

You don't need to be into racing for them to work/help, but it'll take a day or two for you to get the setup together.
These are in stock 6x heads. I don't have a before/after of how well they work, but I've heard 15 degrees. If it's 5 degrees, though...i think it's probably worth it (if you have spare time and $ on your hands)
More importantly, i wouldn't doubt that they even out some temperatures between the front and rear of the head. Might also have value...beside the temp drop in the motor

His little aluminum plugs just push into the holes on the heads.
And then you thread AN fittings or whatever else you like into them. Screw right in...and add your plumbing

I went with braided lines and AN stuff....took quite a while to measure, cut, etc

But kinda neat

get setup with paypal, cruiser...and I'll take a set or two
I'm too lazy to send a money order out.

Ironic that i have no problem spending 10 minutes taking pictures, uploading pictures, etc etc
But far too lazy to write a name on an address and drop it a mailbox somewhere

2 sets left, i need to buy more aluminum stock!! I am holding the price to 20.00$ a set, 1.50 for the shipping envelope plus shipping costs to your house!! Yes they simply push into the rear of CAST heads after removing one soft plug and the heater nipple. once inserted screw 90 degree fitting in and head to the front of the water crossover, i put mine under the crossover, WHAT A DIFFERANCE!! mine is at least 15 degree,s cooler. One guy e-mailed me and said his was 20 degree,s cooler?? All i know is that they worked for me!!
Thanks everyone.

I sent PM to buy a set. I intend to use the RUSSELL PERFORMANCE TWIST-LOK HOSE 5/8 Hose and will look at the avenues to route it.
Would a one way valve be worthwhile so the pressure just flows one way or what have you guys seen? I have a aluminum valley pan and a Huricane intake so there will be no hot cross over underneath.

Wanted to bring this post back to the top as it has more info than the later one. Can anyone tell me if they have a diagram of coolant routing in a normal pontiac engine/heads? I'd like to see how this alters it.

Since these are just an enhancement to the cooling wouldnt #6 work? Just trying to devise a system that is functional and looks OK.

Will # 6 Hose move enough water for this to be beneficial? .375 compared to .5

Anyone have any pics of how they incorporated the heater core in their configuration?? This is WI so heater cores are required by state law

Default How about Cooler

How would this work with a small tranny size cooler attached to it? Maybe mounted to the firewall? Would the water flow between or does it have to be connected to the front crossover?

I am trying to find a way to incorporate it with the heater core still as I am after all in Wisconsin so I cant just bypass it.

Anyone have any thoughts on adding it to a cooler????
