Default Where to get reman tranny for CR-V?

Wife's 2013 Honda CRV has the dreaded converter shudder at low road speeds. Common complaint on the 5-speed auto honda trannys. 178K, fluid is dark reddish brown but not burnt. If changing the fluid doesn't work, who sells good remanufactured transmissions? It's the FWD B5RA 5 speed auto.

Honda’s transmissions have gone to crap over the last couple of decades. I had an ‘04 TL that was towards the end of it’s third transmission when I finally dumped it. As such, there were plenty of rebuild shops where you’d drop off your core and pick up a new one. I’d have my car towed to the mechanic’s in the morning and drive it home later that day.

If you’re DIYing it, I’d try calling a local Honda or import repair shop.

There is a place in Queens called JDM that sells low mile engines and transmissions. I just bought a transmission for my 06 CRV for $650
