Default www.thefirstgensite.com - Gone?

Anyone familiar with www.thefirstgensite.com know if the site is gone? Went there yesterday to check some info, then today and its gone. I hope this site isn't gone - a lot of great info and illustrations.

the domain is for sale, so I would say it's gone.

Edit, actually it's not for sale, sorry. an amalgamation of it is still available. But considering it redirects, there's definitely nothing on a server. Could be rebuilding the site, or may have stopped paying for hosting etc. there's lots of possibilities.

Do you mean www.firstgenfirebird.org, or is the a different site?

No, not the forum. thefirstgen site had a lot of technical data posted, wiring diagrams, things of that nature. It was really useful when I was rewiring my 69.

I'm interested in the technical data. Maybe will try in a few days to see if it comes back. Sure would be a shame if gone

That's a shame. www.thefirstgensite.com had a lot of good consolidated technical information. I think it was started by a member of firstgenfirebird.org But I don't think he received the traffic we have here or on the other site.

Don't know if I have been to that site.

This (as others said) is the one with all the technical info:

https://firstgenfirebird.org/

Sad to see it go, but I do remember a post a while ago saying it may be taken down if a new owner isn't found. Thankfully I downloaded all of the 1969 info a few years ago.

My restoration shop sponsored it for a few years, but I guess she finally decided to let it go. The owner told me she no longer was into Firebirds and had lots of other things on her plate back then, so I paid to keep it going for everyone. I haven't heard from her since that time.
