hi all
am putting my 72 nose and formula hood on my 81 ta.
just finished resto on the nose; that wasnt too much fun.
anyway, if anyonehas an exploded view of how it all assembles i'd be grateful to see it.
all i'm finding is the 2 flat upper brackets and the many bolts holding it to the valance.
nothing on the side?

on a related note, i'd really like to see pics of the 70-73 valance mounting brackets on the inside of the fenders.
i gotta fab some up, and i plan on using proper structural adhesive to attach 'em so i don't have to weld on the fenders.

if anyone cares, and surprisingly to me, the 81 stock stuff combined, including the bumper and bracketry, etc, weighs barely more then the early nose and 'glass hood.

thanks in advance,
mike
ps - this is cross-posted in body-shop forum

I'd like to see too. Mine look like tin foil that's been in my son's pocket for a week...crumpled and bent every which way.

i'd be very appreciative of some pictures, though.

mike i posted some pics over in the body shop forum for you earlier today. One of them was a illustration blow up that Dennis Smith sent us a couple of months ago.

hi - any chance you could measure exact position of the valance brackets on the fender. A drawing with dimensions would be nice
I have 75 fenders I am trying to put 70 valance on, but don't have 70-73 fenders to reference. If anyone has some old rotten 70-73 fenders and is willing to cut out this part of the fender with bracket on it and ship it I would really appreciate it (and of course pay for it ). Thanks a bunch...

I have the front parts of some 70 fenders that have the brackets. What is it worth to you?

The valence bolts to the fender bracket just behind the parking light. You can't see it with parking light in place.I'll try to get a get a pic of it in the next couple of days.
