Joe,
After reading over this post, I'm inclined to ask if you feel the same 5.5" and 7.25" pulley set up would work on the later model 11 bolt pump set-up?

Since I have never seen an advantage either way between the 8 bolt and 11 bolt pumps, I would say that pulley ratios will have the same effect with either pump. I've found that my engines prefer the 8" bottom and 6.5" top pulleys, and that gives us an overdriven ratio of 23%. Using a 7.25 bottom pulley and a 5.5" top pulley gives us an overdriven ratio of 32%. This ratio should provide even better cooling at low engine speeds. Only thing you have to watch out for is the actual water pump speed. If I shift at 6,000 RPM with my 8/6.5 setup my water pump will be turning about 7,400 RPM; but with the 7.25/5.5 setup the speed will be 8,000 RPM. The clutch fan should be free wheeling after 4,600 RPM shaft speed so except for extra stress on the clutch bearings, it shouldn't make that much of a difference to the fan. If you never hold your shifts, then the extra ratio doesn't even need to be considered. All that for - yea, the pulleys should work great.

So where exactly could one find a 7.25" bottom pulley and a 5.5" top pulley for an 11bolt water pump?

Default Still Running Cool

As of today the pulley has done wonders! No issues at all. Just a complete pleasure!
Thanks to Nunzi.
