Default 2nd Gen Tri Y Headers

Bought these used several years ago and had them coated by Polydyn. I never used them. Number one tube had some damage and had had it fixed. Doesn't look that good as you can see in the pic but it's in a spot that would be hard to notice.

These are D Port.

Do you know what brand they are or who made them? Will they fit a 4 speed?

Nobody but H-O Racing was marketing a Tri-Y 2nd-gen Firebird D-port header back in the day. The construction looks identical to a round-port set I had, I’m pretty sure JR Headers was fabricating these.

From the H-O catalog below. I’m assuming they would fit all transmissions since they didn’t exclude any type of transmission.

These are the ones made by HO. Don't know if they'll fit the 4 speeds. I was thinking they did fit.

Thanks for the info... was asking who made them since there was that other guy that was doing tri-y's recently... but had lots of problems filling orders or refunding buyers money. Both versions look nice and Im considering tri-y for if/when I need to replace some hedmans on a 78 4 speed.

I don’t think that other guy ever made his with a 2-1/2” collector.

Of course he didn’t.

Anyway good luck with the sale, that’s a good set of quality headers that are really the best for that application.

The other guy completed lots of orders... but also did not complete lots of orders. The tribal tubes looked nice but I was too scared to send him money due to all the horror stories.

Will be in touch on these if they are still available when Im ready, otherwise GLWS.

I'll take them.

I'm busy tomorrow, but can pick them up in the next few days.
