I've heard good reports from a couple of people who've fitted them...enough so that I've ordered a radiator for my 71 project and my friend ordered two 1st gen F-body radiators for his cars.
Won't know for sure for a while, since neither of our projects are near driving stages, but I'm hoping they prove to be good value.

I just ordered one for my 67 Firebird. Search the seller 'engineered-products' on eBay. They have a nice comparison between their radiators and the others on the market.

I just bought one for my 76 Firebird automatic.... I went with the three row for only 20 bucks more... so 195 for an all aluminum radiator is not bad...

I bought one today...best price I've seen. I thought Summit had one for $200 but it seems the price has gone up, they're $350 now...

I bought a radiator from these guys for my GTO in mid November. It started leaking a few weeks ago. I finally pulled it today and dropped it off at a local radiator shop. Not good. It's leaking from three of the four corners where the fins meet the tanks. The auction listing says it has a 2 year warranty. I just e-mailed them to see what they can do for me. All the welds look really good and it seemed pretty sturdy. Maybe it was just just a bad example. We'll see what happens.

I haven't put mine in the car yet, but I did take a pretty good look at it. It looks to be a nice piece...I'll be interested to hear what they say to you about the warranty,

Damn I hate to hear that, I just installed mine last week. So far so good. Brought my temps down at least 20 degrees. Hopefully they will stand behind their product. Please keep us updated.

Well, I got a message back from him today. It read:

"You can send it to me and I will test it. If it is indeed leaking, I will replace it. Our address:

ET Product Corporation
1900 N. Austin
Chicago, IL 60639"

Well, it is indeed leaking, and not on the face where it may have taken a rock or something. maybe it was just a defective one. It sucks, but it happens. They guy has 100% feedback, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. We'll see what happens.

I hope they take care of you on it...sounds good so far, as long as they don't tell you it's not their problem.

Default UPDATE

I sent the radiator back. There has been some delay and I was beginning to worry that they were going to flake out on me. I got a response today.

"Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I tested the radiator and it does indeed leak all over the place. I will send a replacement out tomorrow. Can you please send me the address you would like it shipped to? Mike"

So, it looks like they're going to stand by their product.

Cool! Nice to see a company actually stand behind their warranty for a change.

RE: "engineered product" aluminum radiators

how was the fit? did it fit into the rad support without modification?

does the shroud fit in nicely without hacking?

Hoping to keep the car unmolested looking under the hood.

Thanks
Rich

I put one in my 67 bird last year and it was a simple R&R. No mods or hacking required, shroud fit was the same. It's been in for 10 months now, so far so good.

I installed an Engineered Products radiator in my 67 Bird about a month ago. It bolted right on, no problems at all. My factory shroud also fit, however there are no provisions at the bottom for the clips that hold the shroud on. I engineered some black zip ties to hold the shroud at the bottom. You have to literally crawl under the car to see them. I'm not a 100% original fanatic so it doesn't bother me. Overall, I'm pleased.
