I'd say it's an A.I. generated pic.
Originally had the car upright and it was made to be upside down.

I would agree. No broken glass, chassis looks unloaded. Who poses for a picture after rolling their car? The woman at least would look a little unsettled after such situation.

This picture has been circulating for about 20 years.
Its genuine
The car is really upside down - you can see all the underbody/drivetrain clearly.
And there are some items inside of car laying on headliner.
Trailer is on its side.

I predict the woman was driving while husband was napping.
He was harshly awakened when she swerved to miss what she thought was a squirrel in the road - but was later discovered to be a pine cone.

The man is smiling because he finally just became closer to God after such a miracle.
The woman is smiling because she still thinks she saved the life of a harmless animal.

During my law enforcement career I investigated many, many accidents of this nature. As shown in the photo this is typical of the damage and and final point of rest of the involved vehicles. I suspect there is substantial damage to the passenger side and forward roof where it meets the windshield.

many years ago when i first saw this picture i analyzed it based on photoshopping because to my knowledge there wasnt AI. what i figured happened was that the driver for whatever reason drifted off the road and then over corrected and lost it. i determined this based on the dirt on the left front tire. no facts just my thougts.

I think him using the jacket to cover up his moments of uncontrolled fear is probably concrete accurate.
Maybe another reason she is laughing/smiling

But, who's taking the picture, the people from the other camper?

That had to have been a wild ride.

They could have had a passenger in the car with them that snapped the pic.
Or child (children) old enough to use a camera.

Or someone from one of the other camper(s).
Was definitely a Kodak moment

A couple of Factory assembly shots, the 1st I have as 1970 Firebirds in Norwood, and the 2nd color shot I have as 1968 Production at Pontiac MI. If anyone knows anything else please share, or if the locations are wrong please let me know.

The rollover pic doesn't look anything like the AI pics I've seen. Looked legit right from the beginning to me. And what looks at first glance like something pouring from the rear is actually just a reflection of the white trailer on the wet pavement.
