It's either one of my brothers or I that grab one (or three; one for self, two for others) when visiting our mom & step-dad... but with the covid stuff, and these inane border closures no one has been state-side this year...

I'm sitting here wondering if I should just order three, or wait and see if our annual family Christmas is going to happen.
(up here there is federal and provincial (aka: state) government banter already about no Christmas time travel.)

Just out of Curiousity, what the deal with these burgers?? Have not had one as I live in Canada. Have not seen one on my trip to the States.
But they do Bring a semi truck to a Local show, Langley BC. The line up for tickets is like 2 hours long. Then in line again for a Burger. Must be good.

If you like a straight forward burger, rather than a fancy gastropub type, they're about the best you can do. Their fries are cut on the spot and are equally simple, I think they taste awful. They've also got a few options that aren't on the menu. "animal style" is fried onions, mustard and cheese. That fixes the fries and makes the burgers interesting.

There's also a history of car meets being in In-N-Out parking lots.

As an LA guy, lots of people love them, they're just not my taste.

Lived around the corner from one for several years, so I’m over them. Today, I’m a Tommy’s man.

In n Out easily has the worst French fries in fast food.

That is a cool shirt, though. May need to pick one up.

Family owned since 1948. No franchises. The owner is the founder's grand-daughter who inherited the chain through a trust at age 18 gaining full control by age 30 (now 36) and becoming an instant Billionaire. .

I don't know about the burgers but that's a nice looking shirt. I'd wear it.

This is correct.
Also, they are virtually unchanged since the beginning;
They started the same year that McDonalds started doing burgers, but left the menu virtually as it was in 1948;
All their food is fresh, never frozen (which is in part why their locations are where they are) - the closest thing they have to a freezer in any of their locations is the milk shake machine;
As mentioned it's all prepped right there, no gimmicks.
The only gimmick you might say is their adherence to the the past, and aside from the food prep, you can see it in the uniform;
I for one like that they are one of few businesses who do not hide their Christian roots (nearly all packaging has a bible verse "hidden" away somewhere).

This is true, and this is a tie in to their shirts - whach change yearly, and almost always have a car theme.

As a side note;
Since Carl's Jr is in Canada now, you can nearly get an In-N-Out burger;
They call it (aptly) the 'California burger';
I've made due with having those this year as a poor substitute for the real thing.

PS: I live the fries;
They are almost a string fry like what some restaurants are now selling;
They are roughly half the size (not length) as a McDonalds fry, and are like candy.
