Considering selling my 65 Lemans 2-door Post backhalf car. New house, new baby, no time to go racing.

A few details: fiberglass GTO 1-piece front end and fiberglass hood, fiberglass trunk lid and rear bumper. Lexan windows. Aluminum floor, firewall and trunk floor. 12-point mild-steel cage. 4-link rear end. New Stainless brake lines w/ line lock, new Wilwood brakes all 4 corners. 9” rear with spool, 4.10 gear and i believe 33-spline axles iirc. New strange single adjustable coil-over shocks and spring on rear. New Afco double adjustable coil-over shocks and springs on front. Tubular front control arms. Rack and opinion steering. Setup for Pontiac engine with Front and Mid engine plates and TH400 trans. Currently has MSD ignition (digital 6al2). Currently has Magnafuel 500 and 5-gallon cell, with -10 fuel line from rear to front. New set of Mickey Thompson slicks, 32x14-15, only 3 passes. New trans cooler (Derale brand) with fan.

Car weighs roughly 2900 lbs race weight with me (200lbs). I’ve been working on the car here and there the past 6 years. Last fall made 3 “shakedown” passes - car went straight and stopped, did what it was supposed to. Those are only 3 times car has been down the track (or anywhere besides in my neighborhood). Haven’t had it cert’d. Haven’t even began to tune the chassis yet. Hasn’t been out of the garage this year. I do have the title for the car, as well as most of the receipts for parts I purchased. Looking to sell as a roller, keeping the engine.

Not eager to sell this car but I’d prefer to see it finished and let someone else get to enjoy it. If interested we can discuss what all parts can go with it or not. IF the car sells, I have a Rossler TH400 (BOP bellhousing) rated to about 1200 hp with trans brake and PTC converter I can discuss selling in addition to the car or separate.

Cert - no. Never got that far with it. If I still have the car come spring I may try to get it done.
