71 Tilt Column Lower Bearing Slop
Purchased a rebuilt/refurbed 71 tilt column, and the shaft at the lower bushing has considerable slop, like, as much as an 1/8".
Shopping for a bearing/bearing kit, I find 2 different brands, Crown, and Omix-Ada. Both brands have varying comments regarding 'loose fit', and suspect whichever brand the rebuild shop used is the one that has the slop. Anyone have any experience with either of these kits, or addressing my lower bearing slop?
