Default Parting 69 Trans Am

Most of you guys have probably seen this car on ebay a few weeks ago. Since it did not meet my 5k reserve, I am considering parting it. I started a thread yesterday in the 67-69 Firebird Tech forum asking for opinions on prices and it was removed ?! Anyway, here are the interesting parts on that car: U30 Stacked gauges with harness, front fender extractors still attached to rusty oem T/A fenders, 3.55 Nodular posi rear drum to drum, 1" front sway bar, D80 trunk lid rods, ratchet type TH400 floor shifter, 3x JK wheels. Plus, the car still has good run of the mill 69 bird parts. I'd like to raise 4k from the T/A specific parts + stacked gauges and I don't think it's unreasonable. I'm in the Montreal area but would be willing to travel a bit for gas money, but that would have to be discussed. So I guess they figured my thread was more related to "selling" and that is probably why they removed it. So they need a price, 4k for the above mentioned parts.

Any chance you could cut the tail panel off the back for me? Leave the tail lights, bumper and just cut it a few inches forward of where the bumper ends are on the quarters and straight across the trunk floor. If you want to include the lower foot of the trunk lid, that would be cool too. I'll hang it on the wall over the bar in my basement - it will match the hood!

A buddy of mine is up in your area fairly regularly, he could pick it up. Let me know how much.

The thing is, once stripped of it's T/A parts, I'll still be able to sell the shell. It'll still be rolling as I have a camaro 10 bolt to put under once the 3.55 is gone. That would have been nice, though. I'd love to have such a thing in my basement as well. Great idea. Frank.

I'm interested in the trunk lid torsion rods.

Your thread was titled 'Parting '69 T/A' so yes it was removed from the tech forum it was posted in. We don't allow selling parts in the tech forums here, there are plenty of free classified forums here to sell your parts in.

Now that you've listed all of the individual parts on the car you need to put a price on each one.

If the car has dark blue non-A/C kick panels, I'm interested in them.

That would be nice if you had a actual fron end coming out of the wall and the lights actually worked to go along with that hood. You got a nice bar and basement

Keep me in mind, no matter how much you strip the shell, there's no way it's coming into the states without a VIN. Cut the cowl off & sell that separate - maybe to the guy who has the other VIN stamped on it.
