Default Starter wire heat tube

I notice that there are two non ram air types, a 4-1/2" one listed for 64-67 and a 4" one listed for 68-72? What changed that necessitated the length change? I have a 66 Tempest with a 68 400 so I don't know which one I should get.

I would get the one that goes with your engine.

I bought both just in case, and now I realize the difference. In 66 there was only 2 freeze plugs per side and they used the longer tube. In 67 or 68 they added a freeze plug to each side so they had to shorten the tube so it wouldn't interfere with the freeze plug.
