Short block is basically together (the hard stuff anyway) still watching on heads getting milled. Official cam specs are 243-249 .638-.600 111ls installed at 109. Looking forward to seeing how the tri-power does vs the RPM intake vs T2.

Actually we might be able to do that.... Good idea, I'll see if I can make that happen. I sure hope Slowbird is efficient in changing manifolds.

If not I'm dyno'ing a pretty stout pump gas engine soon using a Wenzler tunnel ram, I should be able to do a back to back and see how close the Bathtub comes.

Make sure all these intakes are port matched to the cylinder heads. MANY years ago Tom offered to loan me a real Bathtub intake to dyno test with my 4.125 stroke 450 engine. It would of been fun but my intake ports would of been too big, that and I'd have to round up the two carbs.. The engine ended up making 680 hp at 6900/7000 rpm with a Victor intake and old Brad Urban Stage III 750 double pumper Holley.

Good point Steve fortunately both engines are using the same port window and as luck would have it the Bathtub manifold will be fitted to a third engine that has the same size port window.

Actually Jim Robertson is converting mine right now,not sure on that one what I will have him make the port exit yet as it is going on a stock set of 96 heads.I with I knew for sure if a RA IV port would seal on the head I would have him make them IV size. For street driving im sure it would not make any diff of the miss match.Tom

Heads are finished, now i just need to find time to finish the assembly. Sadly time has been pretty short lately.

I would like to see a dyno sheet on that one, I don't think it's possible
with that small a cam. I just dynoed one of my motors and it was hard
to get over 600 hp. Mine made 625.6 hp and 634 lbs I was hoping for more.
I'll get a dyno sheet up here soon.

Default 462 Dyno

Yea sorry.
462 Factory crank eagle rods ross pistons moly-file fit rings E-Heads
with 320 cfm 2.190 it-1.770 ext valves 72cc chambers cnc chambers
11:98:1 comp victor with 1050 dom and 1-inch spacer
Cam is .626 lift 1.5 rocker dur @50 274-278 with a 106 LSA.
I could'nt beleive it made most power at 37 deg timing with the
newer chamber but it did.

GT.

I haven't seen it with a Pontiac but I have many examples that clear 600 HP with 46x cubes and similar hydraulic rollers.

This uses an Isky 238 / 248 with .578 / .608 - 109 LSA.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIIoazbO0d0
Hits 600 HP @ 5400 RPM and continues to climb.

Induction flowing 300 ish isn't going to do it.
