Default Rally gauge tach fuse

I hope somebody can help with this issue. My 1965 Pontiac GTO has the rally gauges installed and the oil & temp gauge pod is not lighting up. I have replaced all new 1895 bulbs and still nothing. Does this stand alone pod require a ground strap to the main gauge cluster? Also, what amp fuse is used for inline tach wire and has anybody have any comment on the oil pressure sending unit that the parts place sells for the rally gauges.

Thanks,
Mike

Yes the pod does need a ground, it is its own pod. Not sure the fuse size without looking but it should be small, just running a tach so 1 amp should work, maybe some one else will chime in. I bought the parts place 60# oil pressure sender, it worked for about a hundred miles then sprang a leak thru the electrical connector side. I called them, they told me they have had good luck with them[if you can believe it] but they did take it back and replace it for free and its now been about a one thousand miles and it works good.

When my '64 was brand new the dash lights did not work. The factory had not installed the dash ground wire.
