1964 GTO windshield antenna
Does anyone produce a 64 GTO windshield with a built in antenna? I want to delete mine and the hidden antennas don't get good reviews. Thanks

I will give them a call. I found a Blaupunkt AM/FM in car aerial disc antenna AM FM. The reviews look good and it can easily be hidden over the visor. Just need tunes when parked, never have it on when driving.

A bit OT but....
I had the windshield antenna in my 79 Formula, as did most Firebirds unless they had a power antenna from the factory. It was never all that great in picking up station any distance away. Worked good for close stations tho. Where I lived up in Northern NY all the good FM stations were off in the distance. I ended up using an aftermarket power antenna which was 100% better in picking up the distant stations.

You can also buy antenna boosters, at least you could 20 years ago. They did actually work. Just power and ground and go in line with your hidden antenna and go. It was a little black box with a short piece of antenna cord on the end to connect to the radio.

I had one of those too John. The one I bought was from Radio Shack. Haven't seen any in years in any store. It seemed to work ok and pulled in distant stations a little better. Worked fine with the aftermarket power antenna too.
