I think it’s because of the class he runs in. I asked him what it weighs.....he told me I assume he wasn’t lying.
My car weighs 3,200...... it doesn’t look it.

Racers can race at different tracks and run different classes and run a lot throughout the year, they don’t need to run a circuit, that’s just silly. Chief ran indy just for the fame, it would have been more special if he could have switched heads and qualified.

I’m just not gonna believe this statement without video proof. Maybe we should define skinny first. A true 10.5? Or a 14x32 10.5?

Whelp... I guess I know where I’ll be the first weekend in August next year. I haven’t been in years, it’s time to get back.

Making power is only 1/2 of it. That orange car makes a ton of it! They will get it figured don't worry about that But it don't weigh 3200lbs! All fiberglass body, state of the art chassis and carbon fiber tub's & floors. they would have to add a ton of weight just get to 3000lbs. The rules for his class (RVW) show he can be 2400lbs. http://www.racedxp.com/classes-rules...-vs-the-world/

GTO George,
LMFAO Still clueless after all of these years.

So just what would a 1/4 time be for a car than ran a 4.0 1/8 mile?

A post in another thread said "(had been running radials)." a 275 is 10.83" and they get wider from there on up. So I am sure where 10.5" came from.

It ran a 6.86 pass on Saturday at 196. By the MPH I would say he lifted early. Now that I think about it that pass might have been on Friday.

If it has steel roof and quarters I can see around 2650-2700 with a 225ish pound driver. If composite roof and quarters, under 2575.

If that is true, and you never know, it could be a game changer after the tune-up is worked out. A hemi head design is absolutely easier to make run fast and much, much easier to tune than a wedge head with the spark plug submerged in liquid fuel most of the run. It's why everyone else runs one, except us. Trying to maintain Pontiac heritage is tough.

People always claim how heavy their cars are until they try to sell them....
