Default Serious question about fast Pontiacs

With all of the new, and bad ass, parts that we see these days...How in the hell is an Edelbrock headed IA2 combo still at the top????????

Either Big Chief is badder than anyone wants to admit, or??????

Forced induction is an easy way to make big power. I'm impressed with BIG N/A power.

I was talking about power adder combos, NOT N/A...Unless you know of some mid 6.50 N/A combos.

It’s only easy to make big power with a pa if you’re not running a pa! Trust me.....it’s NOT easy! LOL!

Maybe you can clarify your question some more. Are you just talking door cars? Two Pontiacs ran 5.8x's this weekend.

Its hard to believe Chief makes more steam than that Orange Judge with the billet KRE block, Warp heads and twins. Got to be others making more too.

Sounds like he is consulting with the wrong people or no one at all.
Think ..what would Steve Morris do with the combination?

Maybe throw that supercharger in the trash..

I was going to say..
He is the most well known,, does not mean he is the fastest.

Things to consider, race weight and aerodynamics.
Poor aero will cost big MPH at the end of the track.

Default Boss Bird 250 MPH

World fastest recoard setting Boss Bird went 250 MPH with a Allpontiac.com Cast IA II aluminum block. You don't need a billet block to go fast.

They won the $500.00 bounty from Tin Indian for the first 250 MPH pass.

That block is amazing. I think based on our mph, weight and frontal area that we're making the biggest Pontiac horsepower to date. And with the violence of 90% nitro included

Just remember non racing old person......it’s not the boost numbers it’s what you can do with them! 3,200 lbs and 12 lbs of boost at almost 171 mph.
I gotta go now I’m running the quick 16!

I think top refers not just to test and time, dyno and glory passes but racers that compete against other top racers consistently . Chief ran that Pontiac in RvW and in ProMod at the US Nationals. As well as on the street and at no prep races. This is not a knock on anyone or any program they have with their car, just giving my opinion of what the top car needs to be considered the top.
