I know Bob! Her favorite song was Allen Jackson's" Remember When". Still breaks my heart but it brings back memories of what should have been.
Keep strong, she will be your rock until you decide it's time!

Thanks from the bottom of my heart. You are in my daily prayers. I'm getting more confident. Folded washed clothes last evening. Some of my Norwalk tees are wrinkled, gotta learn how to prevent that. My wife washed everyday. Cleaned up tree branches from storm. Good friend has good maintenance business. He said dont worry about grass. Our 2 cats ,Boots and Sneakers are rolling around floor biting one another playing. Feed cats, birds. Today burn branches. Some weed wacking. Visit my wife. I say good morning everyday, say the little endearments I use to. Say goodnight.Church at 4.30. Again may god bless all of you. I say lord not as I will but as you will, give me the strength to do your will.

Went to graveyard before church said ' hi'. Notice large flower arrangement with 5 rosaries I could count on the flowers, card was Anonymous. In mail I got a letter from the Latrobe Art Center a man we both know made a generous offering in my wifes name( he does pencil, watercolors pictures of all around the area). He also does still photographs. I am humbled by the out pouring from everyone. Thank you God Bless all of you.

SDBob.
I'm not on here much anymore and I mostly just read. I am very sorry for your loss and I hope you keep getting better and better. They say time heals all wounds, I know you might not believe that right now but things will get better. Your wife is in a better place and you will join her when God calls your number. Try to find peace and some enjoyment out of life and things will get better in time.

It is getting easier. Not crying as much. Still sad. I miss her everyday the little things she did that may have made me feel important or the things that annoyed me.Again times I have, when I feel such great peace. Some of our friends check on me everyday. Trying to get a schedule going for all the work to be done. Today St Vincent DePaul volunteering repair mechanical and electrical items. Then attorney for will, medical decisions for myself. This is uncharted territory. I do not know who to place in charge of my 'estate'. Somehow the right decisions will be made. God Bless all of you.

Glad to hear your feeling better. In time those tears on your face will be replaced with smiles when you think of your wife. Take care and no need to rush any decisions.

I try to think of the good times we shared but some entity wants me to revert to when I was crabby maybe not nice. However i think of the times i would hug her while doing dishes, hold her hand while walking.Rub her arthritic k neck.Fix what needed fixing, esp her rosaries, clean dryer vent, remove snow from her car, endearments like,hi baby, or toots,or babycakes. Record a movie that she may like. It's getting a little easier day by day but the memories of that day still scare me. God will provide. Thanks again guys. It helps me to talk a little about this day and or days. Not to open.
