Nice Grand Am article. That Pontiac dealer sure did a great pre-delivery inspection...NOT!
That B19 Custom Trim Group....you'd think they would refer to "buckets" somehow.
Buckets were available in all vinyl or cloth/vinyl combination.
I'm assuming that speedometer replaced the original?

Been everywhere from 10.50's with a 500 Cad to 5.80's (in the 1/8) with a BBC. Tried to sell it a while ago; see:http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=531848 But all I got was a bunch of ,"can you send me some more pics" and then never hear from them again. So, I've decided to build a mild D-port motor from "junk" pieces that I've got laying around and go play at TNT's. Right now, I'm down to hunting down some hedders. Got any ideas?
BTW; Congrats on the HPP coverage!!

the easy way is indian adventures/.$550 makes it kinda hard but they fit decent, i have gotten regular 4 tubes in with some banging and cutting, 3 tubes will go really easy but no performance,a buddy of mine has a 1978lemans 400 with dports we are doing now and luckily i talked him into spending the money, cause i wasnt in the mood to get on the ground and fight headers for 4 hours or so, i run kre highports so ihave to run the ia headers for roundports, what do you plan on running with this *junk motor*?

What is IA's web-site? I can't find a link off of anybody's site. Everytime I put in "Indian Adventures", I wind up on some site for a tour in India.
Hoping the "junk" motor will run in the mid 11's.

Default 80 Lemans

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]
Here are some pics of my 80 Lemans.

It started out as my son's 1st car. A father/son project. $200 and towed it home in 95. Rebuilt all mechanicals, re-did interior and sprayed my 1st paint job. Was a 229/200 with a 2.41 rear.

Around 2002 he wanted a new car so I bought the Lemans. It now sports a Chevy 350, Performer intake, Heddman headers, poopes duals(heavily modified to make them fit), , 200-4R, 3.73 Posi, 15x8 Ralley IIs rear, 15x7 front, KYB shocks, 36mm sway bar front, 7/8 rear. Soon to get an 82 Nose, TA shaker hood and MCSS rear spoiler, serpentine belts, TBI. The 10 year old paint shows its age and a few college dorm bumper dings.

Looks good man! I'm having some issues with upgrades, finding the right parts etc, but the car was so nice to start with that I got a good head start by not having to do a lot of basic stuff.
I'd like to have one of those calanders, keep me in the loop.

Starting to get some nice lemans pics gathered up here. Scott you were lucky to have a car with the mouldings in such good shape. It really looks good with that black paint.
