Shipping tool chest and car parts
Relocating fro NY to Florida and looking for ways to ship my large tool chest and classic car parts. Anyone have luck with shipping pods? Shipping Freight not really an option, don’t have a access to docks or truck access.

Depending on the amount of stuff ... had friend that moved from NY to CO ... used a container ... they dropped it off, he filled it up, they came and got it. It was full of tools, motorcycles, shop equipment .... up to you to secure it all properly though. He was a very anal sort and it was the most efficient method he could find.

If you have a pickup, buy an enclosed trailer, use it and sell it when you are done. The end result will cost you little to no money and, if you get a good deal, you could make some money. I know several people that have done that and it worked out very well for them.
