'74 seats - cloning customs
Can I have standard seats re-upolstered to the custom "horse collar" seats if I get the correct steel re-inforced padding? In other words, are the seat backs & bottoms the same for both standard & custom buckets?

The deluxe seats have a different bun padding. I think the frames are the same. Good luck!

FYI: the plastic trim is different too.
As I recall the seat foam & trim goes something like this: A- 1970 std & deluxe B- 1971-1977 std & 1971-1972 deluxe C- 1973-1975 deluxe D- 1976-1977 deluxe C & D might use the same foams, but I'm not sure on that, and since the covers were significantly revised, I'm playing it safe in this one. Now, the covers are grouped like this (year specific colour(ect) combinations not withstanding): A- 1970 Std B- 1970 Deluxe C- 1971-1977 Std D- 1971 Deluxe E- 1972 Deluxe F- 1973-1975 Deluxe G- 1976-1977 Deluxe Also, starting in 1974 the shoulder beld made an extra braket get welded to the seat frame (to hold the belt in place) - the braket can be removed.
