Not a true Sprint motor as it has the 1bbl balancer. Missing the exhaust and power steering pump which would get closer to his $850 price. With whats there I would offer $450 tops.

Would like to know what carb is on there.

Look at the water pump pulley, I have the flat nose 2 groove, I haven't seen 1 like that. I paid 800.00 for 1 barrel out of a 68 firebird no pulley, motor mounts, subframe brackets, no air cleaner, no power steering assembly, no bell housing and flywheel.

Looks like some sort of Chebby WP/Fan pulley, definitely not off an OHC.

I paid 250$ for a full "TRUE" '69 SPRINT engine & trans +parts.
I laugh when I see all these Hodgepodge engines listed for over $500 but that just me.

Me too, but I am also cheap when it comes to finding raw materials to work with.

I paid $200 for a complete carb to oil pan plus alternator, flexplate and 2-speed auto, motor mounts, etc 1bbl '69 engine (which I later sold the intake and carb for $75!) and $250 for a '66 frankensprint, a '66 1bbl engine with '69 4bbl/exhaust on it, but it was carb to oil pan, plus alternator, motor mounts, starter, manual trans flywheel and F-body frame mounts.

Both were advertised "as running" condition and both had a couple flat/trashed cam lobes. So I refuse to pay good money on an engine that may not even run decently.

That looks like a 230 Sprint HB to my eyes, and I agree that I have never seen a 3 groove water pump pulley before, but does any one know what a California Emisions with A/C & Pwr steering would have? Just a possibility, not saying that is what it is.

Good thought on the pulley Jeff.
I wouldn't even have considered that "accessory" layout.

However it was possible.
'67 Service manual;
Pg; 6A-19. Fig. 6A-28 shows the belt layout.
Pg; 6D-10. Fig; 6D-14 shows a "rendering" of what could be that pulley?

Interesting combo if that is indeed what it is.

I have a 230 with california emissions and smog 1 barrel carb and it has the regular two grove water pump pulley,not the one in picture. It does have the a single grove pulley bolted to the HB.
