I called, it is not a SD car. Hood and shaker are not origional to the car, it had a 350 and formula hood when new. Not sure if they were trying but they cloned it to a SD car vin is 2U87N4N.

Not sure if they were trying? It's a formula with a Shaker Hood that has an SD-455 decal on it and they are now trying to sell it as the real thing. What else could they have been trying to do? LOL

on a side note, back in 1990 I saw what I would bet a dollar was a real Brewster green '74 SD formula being driven by some old guy with a huge beard and bushy hair. Looked like a total hippie and about the last person you'd expect to see behind the wheel of that car.

You know when these SD's came out there were a lot of hippies around?

When I called and asked questions, I got two people on the line. I'm guessing the Dad and Son or SiL. By their accents I'd guess both Asian and when I asked the question, the Older one first thing, said the hood and shaker were not original and neither was the motor.

I think the Ad. is confusing and maybe deceptive. It reads like it was written by an Asian or someone who has English as a second language. I though it was going to be an over seas scam. But the conversation I had with them was very honest.

Anytime you see an add like that just move on. It contradicts itself, makes no sense, has no punctuation, has the classic key phrases "big block" and "which is the simple fix", and my favorite "don't know if the engine is the original one because my son in law put a different engine in but I don't know if he put original agent"... HUH??????

It's not in bad shape, but it looks to me that it was a plain ol Esprit made to look like a TA Formula mix. I'd buy it but only if it was listed at 2000.00. No way it's worth more than that. Besides that.... how can you be sure it has the original VIN number on it. I know of at least one Firebird VIN number somewhere up in New England or NY that has my Formula VIN in it. But I still have the title to it.

Love the 2 ways they put Formula and the sail panel birds on the sides.

I’m confused why the decals are different in the first 3 pictures than they are in picture number 6 and 7.
