Here is a part that needs to be repro`ed. You must disassemble the hood release to properly gold cad the actual release jaw and then bead blast the rest and paint. Problem is no one is currently making the replacement bolt rivet for the reassembly. Here`s a good opportunity for someone to make the replacement.

You are correct jaw is gold , pin is silver & spring is black / based on the NOS unit i have avail.
