Thanks, I think it gets more attention with the painted wheels and dog dish caps. I get a lot of comments about the wheels...

Most definitly !!!! Now there isn't coil springs up my a$$ !!! LOL... Thanks agian Mike for your kind gester. I think this old p.o.s. is a blast to drive, even with it's issues ! Considering where this car came from, 3 short yrs ago. It is a improvement. I will say this is my first "REAL PONTIAC" and I love the feel these Pontiac's, give when the happy pedal is pushed.

Check out the video of the Thanksgiving burnout I did. This is what a fun old P.O.S. is all about.

I LOVE that gurgling sound the exhaust makes - always have.

Thanks!
Pypes Exhaust does have a unique sound to it. That is why I chose a Pypes Street Pro stainless steel system. Way better sound than Flowmaster or Corsa.

Here is a professional photo taken of my car on the track at Road Atlanta back in 2008 for the Year One Experience. I was finally able to locate and contact the photographer and obtain the digital file. This is the photo that was used in the August 2008 issue of Muscle Car Review.

Great car, glad you saved it. What yard/town in NC was it in? I saw several blue '71 GT-37s in a salvage yard near Henderson back in the late 1990s when I lived in Raleigh.

Can't tell if the camera just loves that car or the car loves the camera...Best looking Judge Pontiac didn't think of IMHO!

Thanks, this car was in the Elkin area. The car was orignailly a Gastonia car, also a GM zone rep car (according to what I was told by a PY member, from the PHS). It had no engine ,trans, and a broken rear end when I got it. I didn't even know about these cars in till 2009. Thanks to my brother for asking me what the F#!$ is a GT-37 ???? The badges look factory he said. I asked him buckets or bench ? He said bench, I told him I was not interested. My son did some research and found out what it was and, we had to have it.Towed it back to MI, have been doing some work on it when time and money are present. This is our first real Pontiac, we love driving this P.O.S. as much as we can !!! Maybe one day we will get it restored. It is also featured on PYPES website in the install section.

Click on this link to hear that this 1975 low compression 400 sounds like with Pypes Street Pro all stainless exhaust system with "X" pipe and slpitter tips sounds like.

Nice find. Glad you put it back on the road!

One of the pics I posted in the thread about 70-72 cars in salvage yards is a blue '71 GT-37 with sword stripes. That's not one of the several from the yard near Henderson though...still trying to find those pics...

Mild camshaft? Has a nice crackle to it at idle.
