That is a pretty sweet looking setup. I don't think that reservoir is going to go anywhere

Its a Paul Spotts engine. a friend made the bracket to hang off the head but I didnt have enough room with it mounted there. the thing is bigger than a 22ounce malt liquor can !

Don’t know if it helps, but I used to own a 67 Chevelle SS 396 that had a remote reservoir mounted just under the core support on the lh inner fender
Maybe if you found some pictures or a diagram it might help on hoses and fittings
I had that car like thirty years ago so my recollection might be a little sketchy

Very nice looking set up! I’m not sure what your asking.I’m having a hard time telling what the issue is . When I made mine, I had to put a loop in my hose to get it from the pump to the box. That way I could clock the fittings for more room.

Happy Easter!

I guess I missed your second set of pictures. That is basically what I had to do. I made my loop bigger than the one you show. I wanted to make sure there was no strain on the hose.

Are you using a type II pump? I have a similar issue with the other March serpentine set up and a saginaw pump. Would be interested to see how you mounted the pump if it is a type II.

Its a Type II pump mounted like the March Style Track set up calls for. The mock up seems to be working...I'm waiting on the right hose to come. was just hoping to see pics of what others have done. Trying to make it look as clean as I can even though it looks like spaghetti. After setting it up though I guess it really cant be set up much different. Theres just not much room for creativity.

You need to find out the minimum bend radius of whatever hose you're using. The manufacturer of the hose will have that spec.

What you've got looks excessively bent to me.

I wouldn't use high-pressure hose on the steering gear outlet-to-reservoir. Not that that hurts anything, but it'd be cheaper and easier to route low-pressure PS return hose there. The only high-pressure hose you need is from pump to steering gear.

Its close, the bend radius of the hose is 4" and I have 4.5" available in the car.
