Default FITECH Wiring

I'd like to clean up the wiring on my FITECH set up. Several of the wires are pretty excessive in length. My assumption is that the fuel injection system needs the cleanest electrical signals possible.

What would be the best way to shorten the necessary runs for both appearance and performance?

My thought was to cut them to length and then solder the butt splice and cover with shrink tubing. I could make the butt splices in places they shouldn't be seen.

Cleanest way would be to disassemble the connectors using the proper tool, then shorten the wire and reassemble the connector using new pins.

Does Fitech use weatherpack style connectors? They are pretty easy to work with..

I was under the hood today and the electrical connections are not weatherpak. Not sure what type they are.

I did look in the instructions and it said to lengthen any circuits to solder the splice and shrink wrap.

Solder is mandatory. Strand corrosion is the way good connections go bad.
