Default 2 Turbo 400 transmissions short tail

Selling 2 rebuilt never installed 71 and,72 BOPC short tail transmissions both have stock pans, heavy duty bands and clutches and B&M street shift kits, $750 each local pick up in Chicago, no torque converters.

The far left is a short tail turbo 400 the center a long tail turbo 400 and end on the far right a PG I believe.. these are not mine just images I downloaded

I meant.. my car is far away from home.. are those specific to some models or kind of random in between them?
1969 GTO 400cid automatic.. is it long or short for sure?

1968-72 GTO was a short tail, most big body cars like a Catalina, Bonneville are long tail

Actually, the only true "long tail" T-400 is the Caddy. The others are either short or MEDIUM tail. A bodies got the short tail and the full size cars got the medium tail.
