Default 70 Judge ebay

What am I missing here? Is it a real Judge? Seems to be a decent price, but no bids. I may be interested, but need some poncho advice. Thanks.

He didn't offer any proof of it being a true Judge, so I'd want to verify with PHS (ask if he already has it). Very few pictures and the ones he does have are very poor quality, so I'd ask for more/better pics (and lots of them) to get a better idea on the condition of the car. It looks very nice car and I'm surprised there is no reserve - currently a heck of a deal, even for a NOM Judge. I'm sure a lot of people are watching the auction though, so it will be interesting to see where the bids go.

Yeah,I'm waiting for him to send me better pics. He says he has verification on it being a Judge. I don't see a hood tach, was it an option on the Judge?

Yes - hood tach was an option.

I'm pretty sure the seller is/was a member on this forum.
States its a PHS documented OO Judge 4spd, so probably it is exactly that.

His opening price without reserve seems real inviting.
It will get some bidding pretty sure.
Most are probably hoping to score it for under/around 20k'ish and waiting for final showdown at the end.

Lot of good features about it. The color combo is top shelf and its 4spd.
Easier to list a few things he seems to be realistically taking into consideration.

Its not numbers matching original drivetrain.
Not an SR or replacement WS engine installed.
Rear is probably non-posi since its said to be original and no mention of Safe-T-Track in options list.
Most folks wish for a few more options than this one has - but things can always be upgraded and added to taste.
Ram Air induction system probably non-existing.
New interior is mentioned, but nothing mentioned about dashpad condition.
Could be a number of final incidentals that need care of.
Salvage title not mentioned and hopefully its not one.
Wouldn't kill the car if it is, but that usually lowers the cieling price.

Perfect car for someone who wants to drive a genuine 70 OO Judge like its 1977 again.
Go pedal on the floor and side stepping the clutch on shifts.
Some local shows every year, etc ...
No worries about VIN block exploding or $3500 carb disappearing.
It takes loads of money to put these back together again, right by the numbers.
He stopped at a good spot. Its a very affordable car at this point.

A couple of basically bare - firewall back shells with frames - in questionable rough condition - 70 OO 4spd Judges - have gone for 5-8k.

#s matching and finely restored they go more around 50-60k range. And up too.

He hasnt been on since 2010.

One thread about the rough OO Judge.

I recall a Warwick blue RAIII GTO Judge as well way back when and this seller has one for sale at same time?

Looks like a great project car. One can do whatever one wants with their own car. However, something does not feel "right" to me when I see that the original thread posted by the owner shows original engine, carb and states all is there. now carb/distributor are missing? Hmmmm That's a shame that these items were separated from the car for a quick buck or other project. One does not find an original Judge often...

I don't think that thread & this car are the same. Barn Judge in thread had a hood tach.

...and hood pins.Interesting, both OO cars from S.Dakota though, can there be 2? Maybe, but the door in the old thread looks good where the auction states he replaced both fenders and drivers door. Also stated in auction hood is original and quarters where solid, not so in pics of old thread. Could he be not telling us the truth, possibly. I don't know now, hmmm.

The OO on eBay is not the same OO as the one he did a thread about on here. The one he did the thread on - he was not the buyer. A friend of his bought it. It was complete, #'s matching throughout, 3.90, hood tach, and more.

You wouldn't deface an OO Judge of that caliber and stature.

This guy has/had a LOT of 69 and 70 Judge & GTO cars projects and parts.
Mostly very desirable combos.

Willing to bet everything is on the up and up. Not the same car.
Reads like he is about to try and unload several more.

"Maybe" he has a chance at buying the #'s 3.90 OO car from his friend, and is raising capital for that. Amongst a hundred other scenarios ...

sorry everyone i have not been here for years, but this is a true judge, and it is not the same as the other judge with all the good options, that was my car but i sold it unfortunately, i will be glad to give anyone more info on this car, and i will be posting more pictures after i get it back from the upholstry shop, i will probably end the auction and start it next week as the interior wont be done as soon as it was supposed to. unfortunately the market has bombed and that is all these are worth now, i paid $15k for this car 7 years ago before even starting on it, so needless to say im losing a ton, but i have to keep things going, i have a ton of medical bills and hospital bills, its either the house or cars so i will be selling more judges hopefully

this is a very low option car, ps,4spd,judge are about the only options, no hood tach or anything 3:55 open rear end, not very exciting that is why i just put an engine i had in it to drive and enjoy it

any questions call 605 343-3371

Good luck with the sale, hopefully it does well for you. I'm not in the market, but would love to see better quality pictures

Question I see...

the '69 is a three-speed car? Now, THAT'S unusual... for a Judge anyway. Both neat cars. Good luck with the sales. Ron

If the Blue 69 was 3spd stick - maybe it was sold new in North Carolina ?? lol

About 70-80% of the 69 & 70 Ram3 Judges i've known around my area through all the years, were factory 3spd sticks originally. But every one of them was switched to 4spd.

Sorry to hear about your medical and hospital bills, Thunder.
Hope all those things can be worked out somehow.

Small words of advice on your OO auction - it sucks. lol just being honest man
No PHS or cowl tag posted, and mediocre pix.
It looks like a text book clone auction.
Low feedback number doesn't build any confidence and potential gazers have no idea who you might or might not be in real life.

With proper representation and documentation it should bid to at least 23-25k zone IMHO.

OO with Black Int and factory 4spd is more exciting than you might suspect to a Lot of potential buyers/bidders in this price range.

Best of luck and best wishes to you !

I thought so too Chris -but then re-read his post. I think he just pulled it down. Or...maybe BVZ's sage eBay wisdom convinced him to redo the ad.
