The really cold starts this time of year with warmer temps might be a little hard to nail down. You'll find as the cooler months approach you might have to go back and touch some cold start parameters that you couldn't reach during the warmer months.

That's something I've battled for a while in Arizona because it doesn't get that cold here for very long so I have a short time span to play with it. Plus the car has to sit overnight for a couple days for a complete cool down before I can do another cold start and datalog. So you can see how that process can be drawn out for a while.

I got my car back and it is running better then it did with the 850 on it. Now I have to clean up the wiring.

And now you can move on to timing control! There's further performance and driveability gains to be had with that.

It's all good. They just drove past. I already had the car in the garage.

I took the car out the other night cruised around with the wife and the dog. It runs better than the 850 demon that was on there. You can definitely feel a power difference.

Good to hear. You'll enjoy that

These things will certainly show noticeable improvements over a carb, if the carb wasn't perfect to start with. Besides that, these Snipers are a larger bore, larger throttle blades, and no boosters, so despite the flow ratings Holley gives them, they are capable of moving more air than your typical 850 or 950 Holley carb. That's something your engine may also benefit from.

Drive the wheels off it
