Default Going to scrap 301. what should i keep off it.

Going to scrap 301 off the 80. what should i keep off it. EXTERNALLY?.

You mean the 383?No,not yet.Its avail,have not been in a hurry to move it,pains me to know im going to loose about 5-6 K on it but I knew what I was getting into when I started the project.Tom

I have a feeling, that intake wasn't cheap, none of my business, though. Cool build. Would be a great build for the Smoke Signals Magazine (I have not subscribed, yet though....

I hope you are not scrapping a 301T motor. Turbo engine is beefier than the standard 301 carbed engine. chaz069

I thought I read in Tom S.'s 383 build up that all 80 and 81 301 blocks were turbo blocks (301T on block).
If I owned the 301, and you lived near Houston, I'd bring it to you, for free!!!

Well none of this matters anymore. I sold the 80 T/A complete.. Now Im looking at a 80 pace car that runs and drives. Ill post pics if i get it. Thanks All.

This one is a Turbo 301

Test drive that thing a bunch, before you make the decision. look under the hood carefully. There's a butt load of vacuum hoses and wires. Make sure nothing looks like it's been corn cob engineered...
