^^^^^ yeah i saw that too thinking WTF.....mild my butt....

vs 219/227 @ .050"......big difference. I do find it odd that its all done by 5200 rpm??? Thats a but short for a "small block" maybe call it a short-stroke...I wouldn't have expected any real numbers UNTIL 5200+ rpm.

Nice motor. It is going to be deceptively faster on the street than the specs say and really cruisable.

Helped a friend with about the same combo 10 years ago. '66 389, .030, same Ross pistons, 76 heads, but no trick rockers or rods. And less cam....a Comp XE268. In a '65 GTO with a 4 speed and 3.36 gears. The car has power everywhere, and flat flies. Runs on 89 octane gas, doesn't get hot, and gets decent MPG's. You're going to be really pleased with your combo....it's dialed in very, very well. Congrats.

An XE268H is 224 / 230 @ 0.050" which is more than was listed for his Lunati 702 cam.

Thanks. No wonder it runs so hard.
