Default '65 Sport wheel on a '69 and later tilt column

Can it work? I assume the splines are the same, but does the collar cover the entire bell opening?

Thanks, Nate

I believe pre-68 hubs were a smaller dia, approx 3/8" and it will be noticed when you install a pre-68 wheel on a 69-up column....easy to measure to see the difference.
