Default Original paint Thread! Almost everyone can help!

Got a parts car? have the fender off and see that ORIGINAL paint? well grab the code from the tag, and post the picture here ( in the sunlight please) and not faded! wipe it off if you can.
Lets see if we can get them all for 70-73! ( maybe sticky someday!)
a nice clean door jam will work too., underside of your trunk?
Ill start..
1971 code 53 QUEZAL GOLD

It really was a holy cr@p moment when I pulled a fender on my Formula and saw Springfield Green. And it really wasn't one of instant lust. I am confident the other GM brands had that color with other names in 72 or so, and all I can picture it on is big station wagons.... like Bel Airs and Delta 88's... I do have pics of birds in it, and it is, well, different. I will try to photo this weekend. Cool idea for a thread.

That code 53 was also used in 1970 and called Coronodo gold, still the original paint on my formula. I'll have to snap a close up pic, if you need it please save, as photobucket doesn't keep my pics up for too long.

The door and jam have been repainted, but the cowl side is factory paint. I had to remove a bunch of undercoating(Ziebarted when new) to get this shot!

I started stripping my 68 and it still has the original paint (Meridian Turquoise) underneath the crappy paint job somebody put on it.
