Default 1969-1972 Grand Prix in VA Salvage Yard

These cars have been there for a LONG time, but he has definitely been clearing cars out since the last time I was there. Leon's near Culpeper in central Virginia.

I've been going to his yard since the mid 90's and pulled a lot of GP parts out. He had a larger section of GP's at another part of the yard and that section caught fire. I didn't ask what happened, but about 10 69-70 GP's and some 67-68 GP's were burnt too. His prices got higher and the parts are rustier... He now closes at 2pm and only open on Saturday for 3 hrs, till 11am.

It was said to be from a customer using a torch.
He lost a large amount of cars from that, then decided to start cleaning/clearing out.
Lots of cars marked (RED X) for the Crusher last time we were out

Crazy that I saw your post this morning about Leons fire just after reading that my Brothers-In-laws family yard/warehouse in Travis City has burnt down

My '72 ended up in a salvage yard back in '96 because there were no aftermarket trunk floor pans available at that time. It was going to need a driver's side quarter as well. Wish now I'd kept it.

Someone needs to get a window switch for the guy who posted in the G/P section today for one. He's been looking for awhile. Maybe he can get one of you guys close to that yard to get him one & both will be happy.
