TCS ohms
How do you test a TCS Switch? I've tried 6 switches and all have read open. The car I'm working on is a 70 GP.

The temperature TCS switch or the tranny TCS switch?
Basically neither have an 'ohm' rating. It would be either open or closed. (the temp switch would use temps to open/close) Try this link: TCS Test

Ok that makes sense. Thank you. Now where is the rally gauge temp sender? I must be missing something. The gauge doesn't move off 100 degrees.

Thanks for the info, so from what I gather the TCS Switch is also the temp sending unit. Yes the green wire goes to the gauge. When the green wire is grounded out the gauge needle goes all the way to 260 degrees. If the TCS Switch doesn't have a resistor in it how does the gauge work?

Off-hand I would say there are 2 senders especially if it has a gauge and not an idiot light?
(I would have to look it up) Usually one unit is on either side of the thermostat housing? (I think?)
